"The materials are beautiful, and the heating side of it spot on. I do wish it had an on button or at lease a light to signal it is on. That would be helpful, but more importantly it would alert me to know it is turned off. A feature that would time it, with an auto turn off would also be great. I'm disappointed that after calling customer service and leaving a message-twice, that NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL. I had a question on size and proportion of foods for recipes, since there are numerous pan sizes. Not good to ignore customers!. . esp at the price of investment for your products."

"I purchased this beautiful slow cooker. It does everything it claims to do. It forms a tight seal, cooks meat to a tender perfection . However… I do not care for he fact that it does not have an off position. If it’s plugged in… it’s on. It states this in the manual but it truly is not safe. I wish that I would have known this before purchasing."

I sent it back and I hade to pay $50 which is not reimbursed by your company. on top of the extra money for the 4q and the $ 50 was too much for me. I regret not to owning a 4q . Does the slow cooker base turn off?
