The ballroom was more crowded than a SunRail train. The guests made more memories than a Disney vacation. And the desserts were richer than the vault atGringotts. But it's what you've come to expect from Orlando Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business events.
The class of 2014 met up with the Central Florida business community at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort for an evening of introductions, conversation and maybe the occasional glass of wine. The OBJ event staff put on a great party, and EdgeFactoryadded its own dash of magic with video features of each honoree.
Honors were handed out in the categories of Women to Watch, Business Executive and Business Owner. Sibille Pritchard took her place as the next OBJ Legacy Award recipient, and Mayanne Downs of GrayRobinson was named the 2014 Businesswoman of the Year. The evening was capped off by a mass photo op, with all the honorees gathering at the stage as friends, co-workers and family members gathered with their cameras.
If you were unfortunate enough to miss it, or just want to relive a few fond memories, take a look at the slideshow. And see the May 2 print edition of Orlando Business Journal for the annual Women Who Mean Business feature.
