Ingredients: 1 cup salted butter; 1/2 cup dark brown sugar; 1/2 cup granulated sugar; 2 eggs; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; 1/4 cup molasses; 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour; 2 teaspoons baking soda; 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 1 teaspoon ground ginger; 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves; 1/2 teaspoon sea salt; 4 ounces cream cheese; 1/4 cup salted butter, softened; 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Delicious holiday themed dessert.

Ingredients

1 cup salted butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup molasses
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Cream Cheese Filling

4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup salted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl mix together melted butter and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Mix in molasses until well combined.
Mix in all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves to batter until consistency is smooth. Cover and chill for 15-30 minutes in the fridge.
Take refrigerated cookie dough and scoop large scoops (around 1 1/2-2 tablespoons) and place onto prepared baking sheet 2 - 21/2 inches apart. Flatten the top with a flat bottom of a glass.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute and transfer to a cooling sheet. While cooling make cream cheese filling
Whip together cream cheese, melted salted butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Fill each cookie and top with another, serve & enjoy!
